3-5 years old, and includes stories, games, and some craft projects.
2. Mother Goose Time at the Main Library on Wednesdays, from 10:30-
11:00 a.m. The targeted audience is toddlers from approximately 1 & 1/2 to 3 and an adult
caregiver. Stories, finger games, and interaction with young children are highlighted.
3. Wee Read StoryTime 1-1:30 p.m. at the Heights Branch (2036 4th Ave.) for children, featuring stories and finger plays.
- Homebound Program:
Our Friends of the Library provide home
delivery of Library materials to those who cannot come to the library. Any Asotin
County resident may call the Library at 758-5454 or 758-4601 and
request materials and a Friend will deliver the items as well as
pick up any items to be returned.
- The Friends of the Asotin County Library is a voluntary group of
citizens who are interested in promoting and supporting the Library. Their
meetings are held on the 2nd Wednesday of the month at 2:30 p.m. at the Main
Library. Some of their projects include support for children's programs,
adult programs, the annual book sale, and the Homebound Program. Volunteers
who work in the Library are members of the Friends.
